A former WWE Superstar and veteran recently claimed that a prospective stable from AEW could be a dominant force similar to The Bloodline. The individual in question is Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler), who was talking about The Hurt Syndicate.
On the heels of speculations surrounding plans to reunite The Hurt Business in the Tony Khan-led promotion, former WWE Superstar MVP made his All Elite debut at Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, interrupting Prince Nana in a segment that seemingly also teased the imminent arrival of his former stablemates, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. The Gold Standard was next to show up in the Jacksonville-based company, debuting as The Franchise Playa's "business partner" on the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite.
Soon after, it was reported that MVP, Benjamin, and Lashley had all signed with AEW and that the debut of The All Mighty was "impending." This suggests that The Hurt Business is likely to appear on All Elite Wrestling programming soon, possibly going by the group name The Hurt Syndicate.
During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, former WWE Superstar Nic Nemeth addressed the potential of the aforementioned faction ahead of their imminent debut, claiming that the stable could serve as a parallel to The Bloodline for AEW in terms of being a dominant group that excels at generating compelling promos and storylines while also thriving in the squared circle.
"[MVP's new AEW stable] could be a version of the Bloodline, of just totally dominating but having great stories and having great interviews and promos and then backing it up with the work behind it... The Hurt Syndicate may try to poach former AEW Champion Swerve Strickland from Prine Nana
MVP made his All Elite Wrestling debut at Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, disrupting Prince Nana's update on Swerve Strickland. He praised the former AEW World Champion's recent accomplishments, but then accused Nana of being an inadequate manager to Swerve, whom he left a card in case he wanted to discuss "business".
This week on Dynamite, Nana attempted to fire back against MVP but was then confronted by the latter's associate, Shelton Benjamin, who confronted the 45-year-old manager and apparently stole the latter's coffee.
After Prince Nana lashed out at MVP and Benjamin recently on X/Twitter, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion responded by seemingly implying that The Hurt Syndicate plans to take Strickland away from Nana as a client.
"🤣😂😂 @The305MVP he thinks coffee is all we’re taking from him," wrote Benjamin.
