AEW is undoubtedly one of the most affluent wrestling promotions in the current day and age. They are known for reportedly paying their employees handsomely.

Recently, Swerve Strickland signed a new lucrative contract with the company. The 33-year-old debuted in March 2022 and has had a fruitful run. Reports suggest his new contract is "one of the biggest in AEW and all of wrestling." Interestingly, it seems like the WWE is not a fan of this new agreement. The Stamford-based company believes that the former AEW World Champion's market value is not close to what the Tony Khan-led company perceives it to be.

All Elite Wrestling is reportedly also offering Daniel Garcia a high-paying contract. WWE was trying to sign the 25-year-old, however, it looks like he will stay with the Jacksonville-based company. Furthermore, just like Strickland, the Triple H-led company believes that AEW is overpaying Garcia and that both deals are "bad for the sport"

According to a recent Fightful Select report, a WWE Superstar spoke about the above-mentioned situation. According to this individual, it would be unwise for talents to settle for less when promotions brag about record numbers and sellouts.

"I myself haven't heard that, but whether or not it was said, anyone thinking wrestlers will take less money is out of their minds when new TV deals are being announced, sellouts and record numbers are being bragged about," said the unnamed talent. [H/T: Wrestling Headlines]

Swerve Strickland to face "Hangman" Adam Page at AEW All Out in a Steel Cage Match

The rivalry between Swerve Strickland and "Hangman" Adam Page has intensified over the past few months. During the former's All In match against Bryan Danielson, the latter distracted him, which allowed Danielson to take advantage of the situation.
