WWE and AEW are set to continue their rivalry in a major way later this year. The competition often includes wrestlers taking social media jabs at the other's product, or veiled insults on television. However, rarely do the companies collide in a way as directly as they will to wrap up 2024.

Tony Khan announced the remaining 2024 pay-per-view schedule back in mid-April, revealing details on Dynasty, Double Or Nothing, Forbidden Door, All In: London, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, and World's End. It was announced that the second annual World's End PPV will take place on Saturday, December 28 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

WWE has announced that they will also run the Kia Center in Orlando on Saturday, December 28. This means WWE's main roster will collide with the All Elite Wrestling roster in the same city that night.

The Kia Center is only 16.5 miles from the Addition Financial Arena, and the drive is around 25 minutes. WWE made the December 28 live event announcement at Friday's SmackDown from the Kia Center, which was a sellout as more sections were opened with Orlando remaining a top market for the company.
