Mercedes Mone's time in AEW has been immensely successful so far. The CEO is the reigning AEW TBS Champion and the NJPW Strong Women's Champion. A few weeks ago, she aligned herself with former NWA World Women's Champion Kamille.

Mercedes reportedly has a close relationship with AEW CEO and President Tony Khan. Interestingly, a clip recently went viral on social media in which Khan could be seen doing the erstwhile Sasha Banks' signature dance moves.

The duo performed the ''CEO dance'' on the entrance ramp during AEW Collison: Grand Slam 2024, which was taped last night. Furthermore, this sequence was met with a thunderous reaction from fans in the arena.

Mercedes Mone comments on WWE RAW temporarily reverting to a two-hour format

In the latest edition of her newsletter Mone Mag, Mercedes Mone expressed her honest feelings about the imminent changes coming to Monday Night RAW. It was recently announced that the Stamford-based promotion's flagship show would return to the two-hour format from October 7, 2024, to December 30, 2024.

The CEO has mixed feelings about this change. The erstwhile Sasha Banks, who spent several years on RAW, said she always loved the extra hour as it gave ''more performers a chance to shine!''

"Now, let’s talk RAW. Word is that it's dropping from three hours to two, and honestly, I’ve got mixed feelings about it. I’ve always loved having that extra hour because it gives more performers a chance to shine. Losing that time could mean fewer opportunities for the roster. It's hard enough for talent, especially women to get TV time. The silver lining could be Netflix. With Netflix, I'm assuming (and hoping) there will be many new ways to showcase talent." she wrote in her newsletter. [H/T: Yahoo]

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see what Tony Khan has in store for Mercedes Mone in the coming weeks.
