WWE legend recently recalled being around Alberto Del Rio and AEW star Saraya when they were in a relationship. The name in question is none other than Dutch Mantell.

Alberto Del Rio and Saraya (FKA Paige) had a controversial relationship which led to both of them accusing each other of physical assault. Former manager Dutch Mantell has shared his experience of being around Del Rio and Paige while they were in a relationship.

In a recent appearance on the Hannibal TV podcast, Dutch Mantell called Alberto Del Rio and Saraya two hot candles and wondered if Saraya had mentioned her controversial relationship with Del Rio in her recent book.

"I would like to know what went on there because I was around them when they were together and you can tell sometimes, I didn't know that much about him, I knew both of them not really well but professionally well. I spent some time with Alberto [Del Rio] and some time with Paige [Saraya] but you could tell they both were two hot candles. When one got lit, the other got lit. Paige is kinda crazy herself and Del Rio's got a bad temper. So, I was wondering if that's gonna be in the book. If it was in the book, I may have to check it out." [From 06:45 to 07:30]

Alberto Del Rio on a potential return to WWE

Alberto Del Rio had a great career in WWE and is a former four-time World Champion. However, he was fired from the promotion in 2016 due to unprofessional behavior.

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Del Rio was asked about a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion. The veteran said that he had a great relationship with former President Vince McMahon, however, with the new management running the company, he is unsure about a potential return.

"I don't know. Some years ago, the last time you and I talked, I mean, I said yes because everybody knows this, I was always in good terms with the man [Vince McMahon], but the man is not there anymore, so I don't know how it is today when it comes to the people running the company."

It will be interesting to see if Triple H decides to bring back Alberto Del Rio for a final run in WWE.
