Former WWE Superstar Ryback recently advised Paul "Triple H" Levesque to sign 6 ft 3 in AEW wrestler, Wardlow to WWE. Mr. Mayhem's run with All Elite Wrestling has been marred by missed opportunities and some poor booking decisions that derailed the momentum that he once had.

The star recently underwent a character change when he joined forces with The Undisputed Kingdom led by Adam Cole. However, with The Panama City Playboy still not medically cleared, his faction appears to have lost in the shuffle. Amidst his absence, rumor has it that the 36-year-old star wants out of All Elite Wrestling.

Speaking on the Ryback TV podcast, The Big Guy said he would like to see Wardlow jump ship to the Stamford-based promotion.

"I hope he [Wardlow] gets an opportunity to go to WWE and have a good run because I think it can really really be good for him if he does if he's not going to be used properly in AEW," Ryback said.

The former Intercontinental Champion also called out AEW for dropping the ball with Mr. Mayhem:

"I don't know what happened with that and I will forever say that might be the biggest mess up there so far for whatever reason, however it happened with how over he was. He had momentum and they literally threw it away," he added. (From 01:01:40 to 01:02:19)

Should Wardlow jump ship to WWE?

In 2022, a report suggested that WWE was interested in signing Wardlow once his AEW deal expires.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter said Mr. Mayhem has the potential to be the second coming of Batista if he joins the Stamford-based promotion:

"What WWE could do with Wardlow would be an absolute repackaging, like I've mentioned earlier. He could be the second coming of Batista," Apter said.

Wardlow last wrestled on the March 13 episode of Dynamite: Big Business. That night, he failed to dethrone the then-AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.

Wardlow has the potential to be one of the biggest stars if given the opportunity. If he decides to jump ship, Mr. Mayhem can have some classics with other big men like Bronson Reed or Braun Strowman. He can also put on great matches with smaller guys like Sami Zayn or Chad Gable. Many fans also want to see Wardlow follow in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Ethan Page, and more for a career resurgence.
