The rivalry between WWE and AEW has been intense since the inception of the Jacksonville-based promotion. From time to time, several prominent WWE stars have switched to Tony Khan's promotion and have taken their careers to new heights. This includes Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Adam Copeland, Bryan Danielson, Mercedes Moné, and more.

Interestingly, All Elite Wrestling has also lost some top names to the Triple H-led company, including Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. Meanwhile, The Game could attempt to sign two more All Elite Wrestling names once their contracts expire, which is not too long from now. The wrestlers in question are The Lucha Brothers: Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix.

According to SEScoops, Penta El Zero Miedo's contract will expire between August and September this year, and the former AEW World Trios Champion has reportedly drawn interest from the Stamford-based promotion. Additionally, per Fightful Select, Pentagon's brother and tag partner, Rey Fénix's deal with Tony Khan's company is set to expire soon.

Media reports have claimed that the negotiation between the two parties is ongoing, but the duo is set to enter free agency unless the company offers an irresistible deal. If The Lucha Brothers part ways with All Elite Wrestling, this could open up an opportunity for Triple H to rope in the talented duo and add more depth to the tag team division.

The Lucha Brothers have been a part of Tony Khan's promotion since 2019 and are former AEW World Tag Team Champions. They have also held the World Trios Championship alongside PAC. Additionally, Rey Fénix is a former International Champion.

AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo comments on his status amid rumored WWE interest

As noted, former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta El Zero Miedo's current deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion is set to expire soon. The 39-year-old recently appeared on COMIENDO CARNITAS and stated that he was focusing on his present.

The talented performer also spoke about the rumored WWE interest in his acquisition, adding that he would need to ''evaluate'' before making a final call.

"I prefer to focus on my present, and my present is currently with AEW. If any company like WWE wanted to offer me something, I would need to evaluate because there is a lot of interest on the way,'' he said. [H/T: SEScoops]

It will be interesting to see if The Lucha Brothers join the Sports Entertainment juggernaut in the future.
