Samoa Joe is undoubtedly one of the toughest wrestlers in modern times. The 45-year-old made a name for himself during his stints with Ring of Honor, TNA, WWE, and AEW. Joe is currently signed to Tony Khan's promotion, where he held the company's top championship, the AEW World Title, for over 100 days.

A wrestler who is strikingly similar to Joe in terms of stature and wrestling ability is the 41-year-old American wrestler, Jeff Cobb. Currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Cobb is a member of the United Empire stable, alongside Will Ospreay, Great-O-Khan, Kyle Fletcher, Francesco Akira, and more. Additionally, he is the current NJPW World Television Champion.

Cobb, who made his in-ring debut in 2009, recently shared a photo of him and Samoa Joe on Twitter (X), standing face-to-face. Interestingly, in the caption, the NJPW star accused the former AEW World Champion of "dodging" him for 15 years. However, this was enough for fans to realize that a dream match between the two juggernauts might be on the cards.

"June 2009 was my debut match, starting my 15th year in this crazy world we call professional wrestling. 15 years of this man [Samoa] dodging, ducking, dipping, diving, and dodging me. You got a small piece of me last week; I expect you to run even more. Bon Anniversaire to me!" he wrote.

The trio of Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata was triumphant at Forbidden Door 2024

At Forbidden Door 2024, Katsuyori Shibata, Samoa Joe, and Hook battled reigning FTW Champion Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Jeff Cobb in a Trios match. The six-man tag team match lasted 14 minutes and ended with Joe's team earning a phenomenal victory.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if the former WWE Superstar responds to Jeff Cobb's latest post on Twitter (X) in the coming days.
