AEW President Tony Khan recently made a huge announcement ahead of the upcoming episode of Dynamite. The announcement featured the new TBS Champion, Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks.
At the recently concluded AEW Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View in Las Vegas, Nevada, The CEO took on Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. Mone defeated her opponent to win her first title in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Mercedes Moné will now make her first AEW appearance as the new TBS Champion on the upcoming episode of Dynamite. Tony Khan recently advertised her appearance for the show on his official X/Twitter account. He also mentioned that The Boss was throwing a party for the TBS Championship celebration on the upcoming edition of Dynamite.

What did Mercedes Moné say following her title victory at AEW Double or Nothing 2024?
Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks, made her AEW debut on Dynamite: Big Business on March 13, 2024. She then made her in-ring debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion at the AEW Double or Nothing 2024 Pay-Per-View, where she went one-on-one with Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. It was her first match in the Tony Khan-led promotion and Mone managed to capture the gold.
Following her incredible triumph, The CEO took to her official Instagram account to share how she felt about winning her first title in her first bout in the Jacksonville-based company.
