Tony Khan made a huge announcement regarding AEW Forbidden Door 2024. He just added a new match.

Forbidden Door is one of AEW's most exciting PPVs of the year because of the involvement of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). This has given way to so many dream matches over the years. This year, Tony Khan already stepped it up a notch by adding CMLL and Stardom to the mix making this year more interesting.

This means that there are several more dream scenarios for the fans this year. But it looks like the AEW boss is still not done booking matches. Tony Khan just took to social media to announce that Lucha Bros will team up with Mistico to take on the team of Yota Tsuji, Titan, and Hiromu Takahashi on the Forbidden Door Zero Hour show:

"This Sunday, 6/30 @UBSArena Forbidden Door Zero Hour LIJ @njpw_yotatsuji @Titan_cmll @TIMEBOMB1105 vs Lucha Bros @PENTAELZEROM @ReyFenixMx + @caristicomx For the first time ever Fenix + Penta will team with the legend Mistico in New York vs LIJ Tsuji, Titán + Hiromu THIS SUNDAY"

Ric Flair says that Tony Khan doesn't care if he goes to WWE shows

Over the past few years, there have been instances of AEW stars appearing backstage at WWE shows. CM Punk showed up once when he was under contract with All Elite Wrestling. Ricky Starks was in attendance when Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40. While many fans were under the impression that Tony didn't like this, Ric Flair was quick to dispel those rumors.

During a recent interview with SBNation, Ric Flair confirmed that Tony doesn't care if he goes to WWE shows. He also said that he will go and see his daughter Charlotte Flair when she returns from injury:

"Oh, it’s been great. I mean, it doesn’t change. They’re all very respectful of me, to the point where it’s flattering. You know, I try to stay relevant and involved in so many different things now, which is unusual for someone my age. I mean, even though I work for AEW, I can go to a WWE show and no one says anything. I’m not gonna not see my daughter [Charlotte Flair] when she’s back and healthy. I’m going to go and see her, and Tony [AEW owner Tony Khan] doesn’t care. That’s the kind of guy Tony is and what AEW is," he said. [H/T:SBNation]
