Tony Khan has just reacted to tonight's opening contest that featured Bryan Danielson's return. The American Dragon had been keeping a low profile since the attack he received at the hands of his former comrades at AEW All Out.

To begin Dynamite: Grand Slam tonight, Danielson finally came out to confront his longtime rival, Nigel McGuinness, and accept his challenge in person. This would be their first match since they went to war at ROH Glory by Honor VIII in 2009.

Bryan Danielson pulled out a swerve by making a no-show with his usual theme. He then entered Arthur Ashe Stadium to The Final Countdown, the final piece in the rekindling of this ROH feud.

Tony Khan immediately took to X/Twitter to officially speak on Bryan Danielson's return following his appearance tonight. He mentioned that apart from being a first-time-ever matchup in AEW, this would now be commercial-free for all watching on TBS.

"Right NOW on @TBSNetwork :First Time Ever in @AEW @McGuinnessNigel vs AEW World Champion @bryandanielson Presented commercial free on TBS right NOW! Don't miss #AEWDynamite Grand Slam tonight, live on TBS now!" Khan posted.

Finally, after 15 years, these two longtime rivals get to share the ring tonight on Dynamite: Grand Slam. Regardless of what happens tonight, both men who worked hard to get back to the ring finally have their chance to slug it out once more.
