BCC was involved in a controversial spot at the recently concluded AEW All Out 2024. A former WWE star felt that Tony Khan would've accepted BCC calling an audible during this spot.

EC3 is the latest to comment on the controversial BCC spot at AEW All Out. It has been a week since All Out 2024 and the chatter seemingly hasn't stopped about the much talked about spot. The show is one of the most controversial ones to take place in recent memory due to several reasons.

One of the biggest talking points from the show was the Blackpool Combat Club turning on Bryan Danielson after his match against Jack Perry. During this betrayal, Jon Moxley choked out the AEW World Champion with a plastic bag. This was a controversial spot due to how dangerous it could be.

Speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, EC3 mentioned that BCC could've called an audible if the spot was too much and Tony Khan would've accepted it.

"Claudio, Bryan, Moxley are three of the best wrestlers in the world too and they have very smart minds. So, if they wanted to call an audible or say this is a little too much, it's too unbelievable, I think they could have because Tony probably will do anything they would say." [15:55 - 16:16]

Former WWE star EC3 questions if fans are interested in the plastic bag spot from AEW All Out 2024

The controversial plastic bag spot performed at AEW All Out 2024 has raised a lot of eyebrows. Many people have criticized the company for allowing such a spot to take place in the first place.

During the same podcast episode, EC3 questioned whether fans were actually interested in seeing such dangerous spots being performed in the ring.

"Maybe, it's a very, very small niche. I don't think even that the smarter fanbase, dare I say, is clamouring for plastic bag suffocation, like I can't see the point of escalating violence and more extreme spots, and stunts and flipping off things, I could see that but the fact we're choking a guy with a plastic bag, I don't know if that's a clamouring for it." It will be interesting to see if this betrayal will lead to a match between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson down the line.
