A former WWE veteran expressed how much he has enjoyed his time with AEW in what he has called his "One Last Ride" following a gruesome match he had last night on Collision. This would be Dustin Rhodes.

During the Saturday show, he and Sammy Guevara, now known as the Sons of Texas, successfully defended their ROH Tag Team titles against Matt Taven and Mike Bennett of the Undisputed Kingdom. The match that took place last night was a Bunkhouse Brawl match.

On X/Twitter, Dustin Rhodes posted a picture of himself following his previous match. He expressed how he loved AEW and has enjoyed the past five years, as he has been on his "One Last Ride" and loved every moment.

"I love @AEW!! For 5 yrs I have been on this 'One Last Ride', and I have loved it. This place is good for my soul!" Dustin wrote.

His post can be found here.

It remains to be seen what the veteran meant by his "One last Ride" and whether this was any indication of him leaving the company or ending his career once his current stint is over.

An update on Dustin Rhodes' current AEW contract

A few days ago, an update regarding The Natural's current AEW deal surfaced, and it seems that his future with the company is not yet guaranteed.

Previously, Fightful Select reported that Dustin Rhodes' contract was set to expire within the month. After further checking on the matter, they found out that as of All Out earlier this month, he had not re-signed with the promotion just yet.

This still means that despite his run as a double champion with ROH, The Natural's deal with the company is set to run its course soon.

Fans will have to stay tuned to reports on his future with the company. With Dynamite set to have its 5th Anniversary show next week. It remains to be seen whether Dustin Rhodes will have an appearance on the show, considering how he's been around since the company's first pay-per-view.
