A top talent reached out to AEW President Tony Khan following a recent major championship victory. Second and third-generation wrestlers are celebrating, and promising that this is just the beginning of a new era in AEW and ROH.

Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs are your new ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions. Saturday's AEW Battle of The Belts XI special saw The Natural team with Ross and Marshall to capture the vacant titles by defeating The Undisputed Kingdom's Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett. The post-match celebration included Kevin Von Erich, the WWE Hall of Fame father to Ross and Marshall.

Khan took to X this weekend to congratulate the Texan trio. Marshall responded today and thanked the All Elite - Ring of Honor owner for believing in them. He also declared that this is the beginning of The Von Erich Rhodes era.

"Thank you @TonyKhan for believing in us. This is only the beginning and we’re gonna show you that you were right for taking a chance on three Texans that love to fight. The #VonErichRhodes era starts now! @RossVonErich @dustinrhodes," Marshall Von Erich wrote.

The Von Erichs debuted for All Elite Wrestling in December, teaming with Orange Cassidy to defeat Jake Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker on Rampage. They teamed with Dustin for the first time on Rampage in February, defeating a trio of enhancement talents. The brothers have worked several ROH matches and earned Saturday's title shot by teaming with Rhodes to defeat The Dark Order at Friday's Death Before Dishonor PPV.
