AEW star Tay Melo has sent a motivating message to Sammy Guevara after his loss tonight. He faced Ricochet on Dynamite but was defeated after a good bout.
The couple got married on August 6, 2022. The 29-year-old star hasn't been seen in AEW for over a year and nine months. She last wrestled in January 2023 and went on maternity leave. Sammy and Tay were blessed with a daughter on November 28, 2023. A couple of weeks ago, Melo revealed she was cleared to wrestle.
The Spanish God is aligned with Dustin Rhodes, and they are the ROH World Tag Team Champions. Since returning from hiatus, he has performed on ROH, Rampage, and Collision. However, he returned to Dynamite this week after more than nine months.
Sammy Guevara was slated to face Ricochet in the latter's second Dynamite contest. Following the match, Tay Melo sent an encouraging message to her husband after his loss.
"So proud [heart emoji]," she tweeted.
Despite losing, Guevara saved Ricochet from The Beast Mortos' post-match attack. It will be interesting to see who the former WWE Superstar will face as he has been aiming to challenge Will Ospreay for the International Championship.
