Matt Hardy revealed that he had talks with WWE

Matt Hardy’s AEW contract ended a few weeks back and he revealed previously that he was keeping his options open.

In a recent episode of his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the former United States Champion revealed to his fans that he held talks with his former company WWE, where he made his name along with his brother as one of the greatest tag team wrestlers. Hardy said:

"Full disclosure. I am doing what I should be doing as a free agent, creating hype around myself. Yes, I have been speaking with AEW constantly. I have been speaking with WWE. I've been speaking with several people across several different platforms.” [H/T: WrestlingNews]

Many fans believed Hardy would join Uncle Howdy in WWE upon his potential comeback. Given that he has now appeared in TNA, the expected move to the global juggernaut is off the cards for now.
