Shane McMahon and Tony Khan apparently had a meeting earlier this week, and now there is a major buzz from AEW and WWE fans. The significant happening comes amid rumors and speculation on McMahon working with All Elite Wrestling, and now fans are reacting to the latest development.

Shane-O-Mac potentially working with All Elite Wrestling became a hot topic of discussion last month. The AEW President has talked positively about McMahon in media interviews, and other wrestlers have endorsed the idea of a McMahon Family member working with WWE's competition. It was revealed today that Tony Khan and Shane McMahon had a "private meeting" in a room at an Arlington, Texas airport on Monday.

A photo was leaked from the meeting, and it was said that the two wrestling figures discussed potentially moving forward. Internal reactions from WWE were quickly revealed. The AEW - ROH owner has been open to having talks with the former WWE European Champion. The meeting has led to strong reactions from the world of wrestling, with many supporting the idea. Check out a few of the reactions below:

"I think they should do it As long as Vince Jr comes too," one fan wrote.

The potential alliance of Tony Khan and Shane McMahon has also brought many negative reactions from the world of wrestling. Many fans took the opportunity to dismiss the idea or point to some of AEW's issues. Several fans also questioned the release of the photo. Check out a few of the reactions below:

"Ah yes. A 'leaked' picture. Totally not sus at all that they're looking right at the camera. Idk man. Kinda sus," another fan commented.
"Yeah this looks totally private [laughing emoji]," one fan wrote.

Jim Ross on Shane McMahon potentially joining AEW

The rumors on Shane McMahon potentially working with AEW picked up in recent weeks. Tony Khan fueled the speculation when he made recent remarks on the former WWE star, which came after Shane ran into Mercedes Moné following Forbidden Door.

Jim Ross is no stranger to Shane-O-Mac. The AEW star discussed the possibility of McMahon working with Khan on a recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast.

"Yeah, it would. It’s so crazy that it might work, depending on how it was positioned and how it was introduced. Shane called me the other day, he’s called me two or three times, which I really appreciate. He’s always been sensitive in that respect. That’s only a question that Shane could answer. Shane and Tony Khan being together, how would that work creatively, heck, who knows? Might be great. But in any event, that all depends on Shane and what he wants to do," Jim Ross said.

Shane McMahon last appeared at WrestleMania 39 for an impromptu match against The Miz. He tore a quad as soon as the match began, and Snoop Dogg was then forced to improvise by defeating The A-Lister. It was confirmed in June that Shane is no longer signed to WWE.
