Jon Moxley may have recently hinted at a potential ally in his current conquest to take over AEW. Fans have reacted to this, with some believing that this was proof that it was not Shane McMahon. This would be Sami Callihan.

Earlier today, it was revealed that Moxley filed to trademark "Switchblade Conspiracy." This coincidentally was the name of his tag team with Callihan during their time on the independent circuit years ago. It is unclear what this will be used for, but with him being involved in a major storyline in AEW, this could be for that purpose.

Attorney Mike Dockins, who specializes in helping wrestlers file for trademarks, confirmed this as he shared a photo with Jon Moxley. The trademark certificate can be seen in the said photo.

Fans wondered how this would affect the current storyline. One mentioned that it debunks the rumors that Shane McMahon is pulling the strings. Others feel like Sami Callihan could be running the show, and they could bring him in to stand aside Jon Moxley.

"Shane isn't pulling the strings....," one fan claimed.
"Could it be Sami controlling everything," another wondered.
"They're bringing in Sami to appease him," another claimed.

Some fans were not amused, as they did not like the idea of Callihan getting involved in the storyline. One fan even mentioned how they should instead use stars that the fans want to see on TV instead of new signings.

"no no no no no no," a fan said.
"oh great lets bring in more mid talent and push all of the stars people want to see on tv farther down the pool of talent.... Tk has lost his mind," another mentioned.
"Oh please don't do this," one hoped.

Former WWE Superstar opens up on the speculation surrounding Jon Moxley's faction

Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) recently talked about all the rumors and speculation surrounding this major AEW storyline and how he enjoyed having that anticipation of something major coming their way.

On Busted Open Radio, Nemeth revealed that he was reading the fans' speculation about Shane McMahon and who would end up being involved with Jon Moxley.

"The first thing everyone, I was reading online, is going for — is Shane McMahon involved? Is there some split in the company? That's a fun thing to say. Maybe. No matter what the case, again, I love when there's that anticipation of we don't know. There's something there and it is with the top guys in the business." [H/T WrestlingInc.]

At this point, everything remains speculation as there has yet to be a major reveal regarding the larger scheme of things. But one thing for sure is that Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson will go to war next weekend at WrestleDream.
