Sammy Guevara has finally appeared on AEW, after being absent from the promotion for five and a half months. Since then, he has wished to ally with certain second-generation stars. This would be Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs.

Last week, he made his return to wrestling by debuting on Ring of Honor, saving The Natural from the hands of The Dark Order. This was his first appearance since he was suspended for the incident that occurred with Jeff Hardy back in February when he did not allegedly adhere to concussion protocols.

Dustin Rhodes along with Marshall and Ross Von Erich were backstage tonight with Lexy Nair as they addressed them recently becoming the ROH Six-Man Tag Champions.

The champions were interrupted by Sammy Guevara, who wanted to form an alliance with them. According to him, he was stuck in a vortex for five years but he could finally be his own man now. This was a reference to Chris Jericho who Guevara has stood beside this whole time, despite all the ups and downs they had during that period.

This silences the rumors that Sammy Guevara was demoted to ROH. This would also confirm reports of him not wanting to be affiliated with Chris Jericho and The Learning Tree upon his return to the Jacksonville-based promotion.
