A former WWE Superstar accused Ricochet of ducking him ever since joining AEW and Rico had an interesting reaction to it. The conversation began with a fan's question on social media recently.
The former WWE Superstar in question is Lio Rush. The star is known for his run in the Stamford-based promotion from 2017 until his release in 2020. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion returned to All Elite Wrestling on the May 29, 2024 episode of Dynamite. He has since wrestled a number of matches in AEW and recently shared his thoughts on facing a recently signed star.
Ricochet recently made his All Elite Wrestling debut at the recent All In 2024 event and has had multiple singles matches on Dynamite as well. As many are wondering about his next opponent, a fan on X/Twitter asked Lio Rush whether he would be seen in a match against Rico.
Lio Rush took notice of the fan's question and accused the former Intercontinental Champion of ducking him ever since coming to AEW.
"Hmm idk. I haven’t seen him. Maybe he’s ducking."

Interestingly, Ricochet also took notice of the comment made by Lio Rush and reacted to it with a laughing GIF possibly hinting at a future feud against Rush.
Ricochet on being jealous of a top AEW star
Ricochet opened up on his relationship with top AEW star Will Ospreay, and whether he was jealous of him.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast recently, the former WWE Superstar stated that he did not think anyone was jealous of another person among the people he was around.
“I don’t think anybody is jealous of anybody in the wrestling business, really. I mean, I’m sure there are, but again, my core—my people, my circle, the people that I’m around—nobody is jealous of anybody. And again, I’m sure there are egos, and there are people. But as far as we go, we’ve been in contact basically the whole time.”
Ricochet has hinted at a feud with Will Ospreay since joining AEW. It remains to be seen whether he will go after the International Championship soon.
