A current AEW personality shared a picture with popular WWE ring announcer, Samantha Irvin on social media with some heartfelt words. The personality previously worked in the Stamford-based promotion as well.
The AEW Personality in discussion is ring announcer, Justin Roberts. Justin was a major ring announcer in WWE from 2002 to his release back in 2014. He was signed by All Elite Wrestling during the company's inception in 2019 as the main ring announcer. Roberts has been All Elite for over five years now.
Meanwhile, Justin Roberts was spotted with his fellow ring announcer from the rival promotion. Roberts recently took to his Instagram handle to share a picture with WWE ring announcer, Samantha Irvin. Roberts also praised the work and talent of Irvin as a ring announcer in the caption:
"Ring announcing can be more than just saying names, @samanthairvinwwe is raising the bar out there 👏," Roberts wrote.
Samantha Irvin's reaction to Ricochet signing with AEW
Aside from her amazing work as a WWE ring announcer, Samantha Irvin is also the fiancee of the current AEW star, Ricochet. The Future of Flight departed the Stamford-based promotion earlier this year and made his All Elite debut at All In 2024 during the Casino Gauntlet match.
Speaking on Talk is Jericho recently, Ricochet revealed Samantha's honest reaction to him leaving WWE and joining AEW:
“She understands the type of artist that I am and the wrestler that I am. She understands, not being stifled, but not being pushed to your full potential. She’s like, ‘What’s going to make you the happiest will make all of us the happiest because as a group, we’re going to be happy,’" Ricochet revealed.
Meanwhile, Ricochet is set for a three-way match for the International title at AEW WrestleDream. It remains to be seen if the former WWE Superstar manages to capture the title.
