A rising AEW star straight up refused to answer when asked about his current contract status and rumors about a potential WWE move. The star is currently involved in a major storyline.
The AEW star in question is none other than Daniel Garcia. Dani joined All Elite Wrestling back in 2020 and has continued to rise as a credible star since his debut. Furthermore, 2024 has been a decent year for Garcia. He is currently involved in a personal feud with MJF and the two will face off at All Out this Saturday.
There have been rumors going on regarding Garcia's current contract status. It was previously reported that Daniel Garcia has not yet re-signed with Tony Khan's promotion. It was also reported that the 25-year-old star is on his way to join the WWE. However, none of the aforementioned reports have been confirmed as of now.
Meanwhile, Daniel Garcia was yet again asked about his contract status with the Jacksonville-based promotion. During an interview with Denise Salcedo, Garcia was asked whether he wanted to comment on the online chatter regarding his contract status. Garcia straight up refused saying the following:

Tony Khan also issued a statement regarding AEW star's status
The AEW star, Daniel Garcia made his return at All In 2024 recently. During the post-show media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about the contract status of Garcia and he issued the following statement:
"I don't wanna necessarily comment on everybody's contract length or status, but Daniel's here and he's a great part of AEW. It's been about three years with Daniel here. So he's someone who's been with us a really long time, somebody beloved by the fans and backstage, and we love having Daniel here."
Henceforth, only time will tell whether Daniel Garcia chooses to re-sign or explore the option of heading to WWE.
