New details have emerged on Taz’s mystery attacker in AEW, and it seems like his son Hook is out to take revenge. This is sure to set off a chain of events.

Taz was taken out just before the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite earlier this month in Pittsburgh. The legendary commentator was attacked in the parking lot, and his son has been on the lookout for the attacker ever since.

He has now come out and sent out a warning to the potential attacker and said that he knows who attacked his father. The former FTW Champion also said that he will handle the business on Dynamite this coming Wednesday.

“I am going to keep this real simple. I have got the security footage, and I know who attacked my father. Come Wednesday on Dynamite, I will handle them.”

It definitely sounds like Hook has figured out who attacked his father, and things will surely get feisty next week.

AEW commentator Taz spoke out after the attack

The entire AEW fanbase was shocked when Taz was taken out before the fifth anniversary of Dynamite on October 2. It was so bad that he was not able to continue commentating on the special occasion.

He was also hospitalized and was left unable to do anything in the immediate aftermath of the attack. However, despite being in the hospital, the former WWE star took to X/Twitter to send out a message to the attacker, and it was an ominous one.

“There is going to be HELL to pay, and not by me,” he tweeted.

Given the depth of his message and how his son has reacted to it with his latest warning, it will be interesting to see who the real attacker is. All in all, Dynamite is shaping up to be a really exciting episode.
