MJF seemingly misses AEW Dynamite; threatens former WWE star

AEW star MJF wasn't present on Dynamite tonight. He sent a bold message to a former WWE star who made his blockbuster return last week. The star being discussed is Adam Cole.

The Salt of the Earth had developed a good friendship with Adam Cole. The duo was collectively known as Better Than You Bay Bay. They also wrestled each other at All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium and headlined the massive event. Maxwell retained the AEW World Championship in the contest but the show ended with both the stars raising their hands up.

The duo were on a great run, but Adam Cole's injury changed many plans. Also, a mysterious man and his henchmen started attacking MJF multiple times. The masked man was later revealed as the former NXT Champion. The former American Champion was absent for nearly six months after their breakup but attacked The Panama City Playboy upon his return.

The Devil made his shocking return at WrestleDream pay-per-view and made it clear that he's no longer injured. He opened Dynamite this week and talked about why he hates MJF. After Adam Cole called the latter out, MJF was seen on the tron, sipping beverage at his house.

The former AEW World Champion then revealed that he let his guard down because of Cole, but the latter stabbed him in the back. Friedman also stated that he will not wrestle the Devil as he doesn't want to give satisfaction to his former friend putting his hands on him.

It will be interesting to see if Adam Cole convinces the former American Champion to get in the ring with him.
