Matt Hardy was signed to AEW from 2020 to 2024. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he often teamed up with his brother, Jeff Hardy. The Broken One recently discussed Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett's booking in All Elite Wrestling.

Hardy is currently signed to TNA Wrestling. This is his third run in the Nashville-based company. The 50-year-old's previous stints were quite productive, as he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice. Besides entertaining fans in the ring, The Broken One often voices his opinions on the current happenings in the pro wrestling industry.

On the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the tag team legend spoke about AEW's Jeff Jarrett. Hardy mentioned that he was a massive fan of Double J and was glad that he was doing well in All Elite Wrestling. Furthermore, he urged the Tony Khan-led company to make the WWE Hall of Famer's role on TV as productive as possible.

"He's one of those guys that I feel like has so much name value. Generations of fans know Jeff Jarrett. Jeff Jarrett needs to be featured in a very positive, productive way on AEW TV. I think it does nothing but help the AEW product, and if you put Jeff Jarrett in the position and the right situation to succeed, it's going to be a win through and through and through," said Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy wanted Jeff Hardy to work with Bray Wyatt more

Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) unfortunately passed away in August 2023. During The Hardys' run in the Stamford-based company between 2017 and 2020, Matt received the opportunity to work with the former Universal Champion. However, his brother Jeff didn't feature in a notable storyline with The Eater of Worlds.

On Instagram, Matt Hardy wrote that he wished his brother got to work with Wyatt more because he felt they could have created magic in the ring.

"Really wish my brother could have worked with Windham more. Windham was such a special human and gifted performer. I’m still so enamored and impressed by Jeff’s facepaint tribute Thursday night on #TNAiMPACT. I don’t think I’m alone when I really wish we could have seen Willow and The Fiend on the screen together at least once," he wrote.

Matt and Jeff Hardy are widely considered one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time. Many fans hope they win gold in TNA soon.
