AEW World Champion Jon Moxley made a name for himself on the independent circuit and was also in a tag team with TNA Star Sami Callihan known as Switchblade Conspiracy. Many believed that the duo might reunite in All Elite Wrestling however, Callihan seems to be focused on other plans.

The 37-year-old star returned to TNA at the Rebellion PPV where he came to the aid of Jordynne Grace and helped her retain the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Sami Callihan's future has been a hot topic among wrestling fans as many believed that he might join AEW and reunite with Jon Moxley.

In a recent interview with Tru Heel Heat Wrestling, Sami Callihan confirmed that he will be staying with TNA for the foreseeable future and sees himself retiring in the promotion one day:

"I'll be there for the foreseeable future. We came to an agreement on a deal, and I'm extremely happy working for TNA. I could see myself retiring at TNA one day and hopefully working behind the scenes. I love TNA Wrestling. As much as people talked about, 'Oh, I want to go to Japan, I want to work for WWE', TNA was always on a pedestal to me, and being a part of that now is like a dream come true" H/T:[Cultaholic]

Jon Moxley won the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream 2024

This past Saturday at the AEW WrestleDream PPV event, Bryan Danielson lost his AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley and officially retired from full-time competition. The win brought Moxley his fourth AEW World Title and he currently holds the record for most reigns.

After the match, Jon Moxley unleashed a brutal attack on Bryan Danielson and had Wheeler Yuta suffocate him with a plastic bag. The American Dragon will reportedly get surgery for his neck and the promotion hopes to see him return after making a full recovery.

We will have to wait and see if Bryan Danielson decides to return to in-ring action after his surgery.
