Wrestling veteran, Jim Cornette declared that a rising AEW star should take Tony Khan's offer rather than heading to the WWE. The star has been rumored to jump ship for months.
The AEW star in question is none other than Daniel Garcia. Dani has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2020. Since the beginning of the year 2024, fans have been behind Garcia as he continues to rise. He was last seen at the All Out pay-per-view where he was defeated by MJF.
Over the past few months, there have been rumors of Garcia potentially leaving Tony Khan's promotion as soon as his contract expires. Meanwhile, wrestling veteran, Jim Cornette shared his views on the same while speaking on his The Experience podcast, saying Garcia should take Khan's offer instead of WWE:
"From what I've seen of Mr. Garcia, if I was Mr. Garcia I'd take Tony's money. Now if Garcia in five years is a big star and I am not talking about if Tony is still around, I am talking about as a big star in this business probably in WWE to be a big star in this business then I will... you can play me the tape of those words and I'll cut up the tape and eat it on the air." AEW star recently refused to talk about his contract status
As mentioned earlier, there has been a lot of online chatter regarding AEW star, Daniel Garcia's contract status with the Jacksonville-based promotion. Garcia was recently asked whether he would like to say anything regarding his contract status during his interview with Denise Salcedo, but he refused to say anything:
"No, thank you," Garcia said.
Moreover, it was recently reported that WWE and Triple H are interested in signing Garcia as well. Only time will tell what the future has in store for Garcia.
