Fan reactions have been pouring in after there was a recent update on an AEW star's contract status. The star being discussed is Daniel Garcia. His contract is supposedly expiring this fall.

The Dragon Slayer has been one of the best young wrestlers the Tony Khan-owned promotion has in their locker room. Initially, he was a part of the faction with Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. He then separated and went on his own way to shine as a singles star. He has had great bouts with multiple stars through the years since he signed with the promotion in 2021.

The reports of Red Death's contract expiry surfaced ahead of All In London this year. Amid all the speculations, he has been written off TV for a significant amount of time. Also, reports of WWE being interested in signing him emerged. He then showed up at Wembley Stadium and distracted MJF during his bout. He faced the latter at the All Out Pay-Per-View, which he lost and hasn't been seen on TV since.

Many believed Garcia's return at All In meant that he had re-signed with AEW. However, that seemingly wasn't the case. A recent report claimed that Daniel Garcia's chances of re-signing for the promotion are lower than last month.

Many fans want the young star to re-sign with the Jacksonville-based promotion and warned Tony Khan not to fumble Garcia. Several of them want him to sign a new deal with WWE.

Daniel Garcia refused to share an update on his AEW contract status

The 26-year-old star's contract is expiring soon and fans are wondering if the star would be renewing his contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo, The Dragon Slayer refrained from answering questions related to his contract negotiations.

"No, thank you," he said.

It will be interesting to see which company will Daniel Garcia choose in the future.
