Kenny Omega is undoubtedly among AEW's most important wrestlers. He has held the World Championship, World Tag Team Title, and World Trios Championship, making him the company's first-ever and only Triple Crown Champion.

Unfortunately, The Best Bout Machine is currently sidelined due to a medical condition. He has not wrestled since December 2023 because he has been diagnosed with diverticulitis. Tony Khan has yet to reveal the 40-year-old's exact return date. However, in a recent video uploaded on New Japan Pro-Wrestling's YouTube channel, Omega spoke about his future as an in-ring performer.

Kenny Omega revealed that he won't be cleared for in-ring competition anytime soon. The Cleaner added that if he was miraculously allowed to wrestle again, he wouldn't miss the opportunity to compete at Wrestle Dynasty, which will be held at the Tokyo Dome in January 2025.

"If they cleared me tomorrow, I would be back in the ring. There’s a lot I don’t know right now, but I’d absolutely love to be on a stage like Wrestle Dynasty," said Omega.

Kenny Omega's good friend Michael Nakazawa revealed that he was unable to lift weights

Kenny Omega has an impressive physique and he regularly lifts weights to maintain it. According to Michael Nakazawa, the 40-year-old is gradually recovering, but he has been facing much difficulty in lifting weights.

In a chat with Love-Spo, Nakazawa said the following about Omega's condition following surgery:

"He is still not able to lift the same weights as before, so he is trying to find the best training that he can do while incorporating rehabilitative elements such as walking and exercising in the pool, and he is working hard toward recovery." [H/T: Fightful]

All Elite Wrestling has undergone drastic changes in Omega's absence. Fans worldwide sorely miss him and hope for his quick recovery.
