A current AEW star has requested his release from the company sparking talks about him returning to WWE. However, Jim Cornette feels the Stamford-based company won't bring him back.

Miro was a dominant force in the ring when he first signed with AEW. He destroyed his opponents mercilessly and quickly won the TNT Championship. However, soon after losing the title, his downfall began. He was then kept off television for several weeks until last year when he had a short feud with Andrade that culminated in a match at AEW World's End. Since then, he has been absent from the ring.

There have been recent reports claiming that he had creative differences with the Jacksonville-based company and had requested his release. This sparked the debate of whether WWE would re-hire Miro (fka Rusev). Speaking on his YouTube channel, Jim Cornette mentioned that WWE won't want him anymore considering his track record of being a "problem child."

"Why would they want him? At this point, everybody they've got's over, he lives in Bulgaria, he's been a problem child at the other company unless he's got some close friends there he can plead his case of complete innocence and he hasn't acted like a stable type of individual himself," he said. Dutch Mantell believes Miro won't earn the same salary in WWE as he is earning in AEW

Miro extended his contract for four years with All Elite Wrestling in 2022 and it is now set to expire in spring of 2026.

It was reported that the former WWE star was making a seven-figure salary in Tony Khan's promotion and also that he had requested a release. Speaking on a recent edition of Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell believes that Miro won't earn the same amount of money if he joined WWE.

"I don't blame Miro, but do you think he'd get the same money from WWE? I don't think so. What's he getting from AEW?" Dutch said. [From 40:54 nonwards]

It will be interesting to see what Miro's future plans will be if he is granted his release from All Elite Wrestling.
