Tony Khan recently teased some "historic announcements" ahead of AEW All in 2024. Fans have now reacted to this statement.

AEW is nearing its biggest show of the year - All In. Like last year, this year's edition is set to take place in London, England. The show will be headlined by Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson, who will battle in a title vs. career match. Another major match on the card is the AEW American Championship bout between MJF and Will Ospreay.

Ahead of the show, Tony Khan made headlines during his interview with TV Insider by teasing some historic announcements that are imminent.

“We’re on the verge of the most important announcements in the history of AEW. There are multiple aspects. The arrival of these announcements is imminent. We’ll have big news that could come at any time.”

Tony Khan comments on Shane McMahon ahead of AEW All In 2024

One of the biggest news stories that shocked the wrestling community was the secret meeting that took place between Tony Khan and Shane McMahon in Arlington, TX. Although specific details from that meeting weren't released to the public, a photo of the two went viral on social media and got a lot of people speculating online.

During the same interview with TV Insider, the AEW boss addressed the topic and praised Shane for being insightful and intelligent. However, he didn't dive into any specifics from the meeting.

"That was the first time I'd ever met Shane. We both were in Dallas and have mutual close friends. I really enjoyed talking to him. He [Shane McMahon] is quite an insightful, intelligent person. He seems like a nice guy and very smart. I enjoyed talking to him about wrestling. I'm not sure what could come of it, but he was a very down-to-earth and impressive nice guy," he said.
