Last week, Orange Cassidy launched a reckless attack on an AEW star. The name in question is none other than his former stablemate Trent Beretta.

A while ago, fans saw Beretta turn his back on his Best friend stablemates Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. Since then he has been targeting The King of Sloth Style. They both even faced each other at the Double or Nothing 2024 Pay-Per-View.

At last week's Saturday Night Collision episode, The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) defeated The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly & Orange Cassidy) via disqualification.

It happened because Beretta interfered in Cassidy's match. An angry Cassidy took out his ex-friend with a wrench. A few hours ago, Beretta went on his X (formerly Twitter) account to give an update on his condition. He even lashed out at his attacker for ambushing him.

"Burning electric shock feeling down arm into hand, weakness in shoulder and bicep, constant throbbing pain in neck and trap but it’s so goddamn funny when d**khead puts his hands in his pockets that it makes it all okay," he tweeted.

Trent Beretta is not cleared to wrestle and Orange Cassidy's attack was used to write him off AEW TV

The last time the wrestling fans saw Trent Beretta in action inside a ring was on May 26, 2024, at the Double or Nothing PPV. At the event, he suffered defeat at the hands of his former stablemate, Orange Cassidy, in a singles match.

This week, The King of Sloth Style took him out using a wrench on Collision after the latter interfered in his match. But it was done to write Trent off the television.

FightFul Select recently reported that Trent Beretta is not cleared to wrestle as he's been dealing with injuries since the AEW Double or Nothing PPV. It was also reported that he was due a big push in AEW. Fans are excited to see the former WWE star back in action.
