A major AEW star missed last night's Grand Slam. This led to the fans believing that the concerned talent might be departing Tony Khan's company.

Daniel Garcia has had a decent run in AEW till now. The 25-year-old broke out as a major star in the Continental Classic and recently had a heated program with MJF. In July, Maxwell Jacob Friedman brutalized Garcia which was reportedly done due to the youngster's contract situation.

However, Garcia shocked the fans after returning at All In and costing MJF the International Championship. MJF and Daniel Garcia faced off in a hard-hitting match at All Out where Friedman came out on top against the former ROH Pure Champion. He has been missing from television since the PPV, which is reportedly due to not renewing his contract with the company.

On X (fka Twitter), a fan noticed how Daniel Garcia was not at Arthur Ashe Stadium for AEW Grandslam and claimed that he might be gone from All Elite Wrestling.

The fans reacted to the post expressing how sad it was to see Daniel Garcia potentially leave the company when he was seemingly getting ready to become a main event star.

Meanwhile, another fan hoped that Daniel Garcia would have a match at Collision, while another one claimed that if Garcia left the company, it wouldn't be a big loss.

"Holding out hope that he’s on Collision, and no, this isn’t me opening up spoilers; I’m just fingers crossed," a fan tweeted.
"Legit the worst thing that has ever happened to me as a wrestling fan. I saw him as someone who could be my favorite wrestler in a few years time. TK must pay," another fan wrote.
"And the crowd goes mild... Not a big loss if he goes." a fan stated.

It remains to be seen whether the 25-year-old ends up re-signing with the Jacksonville-based promotion or if he will decide to continue his career elsewhere.

AEW CEO Tony Khan recently spoke about Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia has been an upcoming talent in AEW who has shown great potential, but his recent contract negotiations are reportedly the reason behind his absence from television. During the post-All In media scrum, Tony Khan spoke about the former ROH Pure Champion.

The All Elite CEO put over Garcia and appreciated the youngster's run in the Jackonville-based promotion. Khan said that he loves having Daniel Garcia in All Elite Wrestling.

"I don't wanna necessarily comment on everybody's contract length or status, but Daniel's here and he's a great part of AEW. It's been about three years with Daniel here. Daniel Garcia started with us in Daily's Place, and he was kind of on that run of shows right before we started wrestling in front of the crowds again. So he's someone who's been with us a really long time, somebody beloved by the fans and backstage, and we love having Daniel here," he said.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Daniel Garcia amidst huge interest from Triple H and WWE.
