The current FTW Champion, HOOK is set for a title match at the upcoming AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. The bout was announced during the most recent episode of Collision.

HOOK regained the FTW Championship by defeating Chris Jericho at the recent AEW All In PPV. He became a two-time champion by doing so. The 25-year-old star has yet to defend his gold since winning it at the Wembley show last month. Nonetheless, the title match has been announced for the upcoming Dynamite Grand Slam 2024.

During the most recent episode of Collision, it was announced that HOOK was slated to defend the FTW Championship against Roderick Strong at Grand Slam. A few weeks ago on Dynamite, HOOK teamed with The Conglomeration and picked up a win over Roderick Strong, Chris Jericho, and Big Bill, in a trios match.

The 25-year-old star has been a promising in-ring talent for quite some time now and the fans have been rooting for the youngster.

It remains to be seen if HOOK manages to successfully defend the FTW Championship against Roderick Strong at the upcoming Dynamite Grand Slam.
