Jon Moxley is currently the number-one contender for the AEW World Championship. He earned the opportunity by defeating Darby Allin at Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024. He will face Bryan Danielson for the title at WrestleDream, and if he is victorious, he will become a four-time AEW World Champion.
Moxley currently leads a faction whose members, apart from him, appear to be Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and PAC. At the recent All In pay-per-view, the erstwhile Dean Ambrose attacked AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson and made it clear that the leader of the "Yes!" movement was not associated with them anymore. He eagerly wants the title and, with the above-mentioned names beside him, he looks like an unstoppable force. After the former Lunatic Fringe defeated Allin at Grand Slam, he was attacked by Danielson.
Moxley was seemingly frustrated with this attack and former WWE star Marina Shafir recently shared an image of her listening to the 38-year-old's venting.

AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson has issued a stern warning to Jon Moxley
After Bryan Danielson attacked Moxley at Grand Slam, he delivered a passionate promo where he declared war on his former friend.
"Mox! You said you wanted war. I declare war! Here’s the thing. You want a shot at my championship, you got it! Me and you at Wrestle Dream and I’m going to kick your head in!" said Danielson. [H/T AEW's official website]
While fans are anticipating Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley, it remains to be seen who Wheeler Yuta will choose to back. He is currently in a dilemma because he is the reigning AEW World Trios Champion along with Castagnoli and PAC, however, Danielson is his mentor.
It remains to be seen how the story will pan out.
