On the latest episode of Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page had a grueling match with former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal. It ended with the former's victory; however, the way he won was disturbing to watch.

Lethal is currently in an alliance with Jeff Jarrett and Sonjay Dutt. The three men are very close to each other, as they have worked together in TNA and other promotions. Interestingly, Dutt was employed by WWE from 2019 to 2021 as a producer.

Even before the match started, the former AEW World Champion attacked Lethal backstage, when the latter was speaking to Renee Paquette. The two men kept brawling on their way to the ring, and it escalated upon entering it. Their bout was hard-hitting and enjoyable for fans, but Hangman used dishonorable tactics to triumph. After the above-mentioned match concluded, the former WWE employee delivered a passionate promo where he explained the meaning of loyalty to Hangman. Additionally, he stated that the former AEW World Tag Team Champion was not even a real man.

"Hangman, I realize one thing. You're not a real man. Nothing about you defines what a real man is. Because I've put all the pieces together since you've been here in AEW. You have never shown loyalty to the people who care about you." said Dutt.

Hangman Adam Page on holding the AEW World Championship

Hangman Adam Page won the AEW World Championship in November 2021 and held it for close to 200 days. In a 2023 interview with Uproxx, he reflected on his title run and revealed that he was proud of it and intends to become champion again in the future.

"I’m proud of it. It’s more than most wrestlers ever accomplish in their lifetime. I should be proud of that, and I am proud of it. And I’m looking forward to doing it again." he said. [H/T Wrestling Headlines]
