Booker T reacts to AEW star Swerve Strickland's comments against WWE

Swerve Strickland recently signed a new contract with AEW and reacted on social media about the response the news got. He noted how people complain when a black person makes this much money and even brought up WWE in the conversation.

In a recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, NXT Commentator Booker T reacted to Swerve's comments and explained how black talent is thriving in the WWE right now. He questioned if there was something specific that happened to Swerve Strickland during his run with WWE which led to him making such comments.

"I'm just wondering, is he talking about someone specific, because I look at the black talent in WWE right now... Like Bianca Belair, Oba Femi, who else? The New Day? They won more Tag Team Championships than anybody. Bianca Belair is headlining WrestleMania. Oba Femi is a young guy out of college that's doing big things in NXT. I'm just trying to figure out what he's talking about. Me, I've been working there twenty years, so I'm just trying to figure out if it's something that happened to him, personally. As far as him not getting the push that he wanted... He felt, perhaps, he should have been a bigger star in WWE," Booker T said.

Swerve Strickland has been off television since he lost to Hangman Adam Page at All Out. We will have to wait and see when he will show up again in AEW.
