Earlier tonight, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre faced off in a Hell in a Cell match to cap off their trilogy of matches. Fans compared this to another hardcore match that took place in AEW last month and believe that the latter was much better.

This would be the Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage match between Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. Both feuds have been each company's hottest over the past year. This has gone to the point where there have now been multiple installments of each.

Tonight's match saw CM Punk take the win and end their head-to-head series in his favor. This was said to be the last of their feud, and a Hell in a Cell match was fitting for this. The same can be said for the match between Swerve and Hangman at All Out pay-per-view.

One user on X/Twitter brought up how they still believed that the match at All Out was better than tonight's Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood. Several fans agreed with their sentiments and said this was the clear-cut answer.

"Well… ya," one fan agreed.
"Easily," another mentioned.
" Not even a question," said another.

Others believed the same, but they also credited tonight's contest with being a great match. Some believed that this bout between Drew and Punk was better than they expected.

"I mean you’re absolutely correct but both were good. Never expected there to be a good HIAC match again tbh," one claimed.
"Yes it was I agree.. But Drew Punk dint disappoint at all all three matches were great between them," another agreed.
"I’d agree but they both are definitely the best matches their companies have had all year," a fan mentioned.

CM Punk collapsed after his match tonight

After tonight's gruesome match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, the former seemingly felt the effects of this right after.

As Punk was walking to the back after he successfully beat The Scottish Warrior, he collapsed midway, and members of the medical team rushed to check on him. They even gave him an oxygen mask to help him breathe after the physical match.

At this point, it remains to be seen whether things are truly over and whether The Straight Edge Superstar will now go for something bigger such as a world title.
