Dustin Rhodes recently won his first championship in AEW, and he wasn't alone in the endeavor. The veteran teamed up with the new generation of the legendary Von Erich family, and Rhodes believes that his partners will soon get an All Elite graphic of their own.
Marshall and Ross Von Erich made their AEW debuts in December of last year and have since become a regular presence in ROH. They recently joined forces with Dustin Rhodes, and the trio won the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship at AEW Battle of the Belts on July 27.
It was a special moment for Dustin Rhodes, who seems to be a huge fan of the Von Erich family. AEW and ROH fans have also taken to Marshall and Ross, and one fan expressed his hope that the Von Erichs will get their All Elite graphic soon.

Dustin Rhodes gets emotional after title win with The Von Erichs
As a member of the Rhodes family, Dustin Rhodes has a deep connection with wrestling history. The Natural is also from Texas, where the Von Erichs are wrestling royalty.
So it's no surprise that the 55-year-old's victory alongside Marshall and Ross Von Erich would be a special moment. The three teamed up to defeat The Dark Order at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024, then claimed the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship the very next night at AEW Battle of the Belts XI.
After the match, Rhodes grabbed a microphone and addressed the win, claiming that it was a surreal moment for him:
"Guys, I’m going to be honest with you for just a second. This is a surreal moment for me. I’m 55 years old and I’ve been doing this a long, long time — 36 years. I promise you this from the bottom of my heart I can say this: I had no idea this is very special because the two families we have here, the Von Erichs and the Rhodes, I never in a million years thought I would be standing here with the Von Erichs in the ring and win six-man gold."
Tony Khan was proud of The Natural and The Von Erichs after the match, and Dustin showed his appreciation for the opportunity. The trio will now embark on their first title reign together, and it's clear that the Von Erich brothers have a lot to look forward to in All Elite Wrestling.
