AEW veteran Dustin Rhodes recently shared information regarding his future with the promotion and industry. He clarified some rumors on social media.

The Natural has been in the industry for three and a half decades and is now in his fifth year with All Elite Wrestling. He last competed on the shows a month ago during a qualifying ladder match for the vacant TNT Championship. He was defeated by Jack Perry, who went on to become the champion.

On X/Twitter, a user discussed the rumors that Dustin Rhodes' contract was set to expire in a few months and that, after this, he could either reunite with his brother in WWE or pursue other endeavors.

However, the veteran debunked the claims, saying that his contract was indeed soon to expire, but this did not mean that he was done with the company and that he was hoping negotiations would go well.

"Wrong! Jeeze guys, do better. Yes my contract is up in September, and No, I am absolutely NOT DONE. Having the best matches of my life and hopefully, God willing I will get to retire on my own terms, respected with a full heart. Hopefully Negotiations go well because I am damn worth the world. The only things that matter to me are: taking care of my family first and foremost, and finishing up when I am ready, and how I envision my retirement."

He then told the fans to relax because he loved doing this for them and was still enjoying himself.

"So hold off guys, This biz is my life and I love doing it for you, while still having fun and able. #KeepSteppin and thank you all for your continued love and support!" Rhodes tweeted.

Dustin Rhodes previously hinted at a major announcement

Dustin Rhodes has been making sporadic appearances for AEW and has not been involved with any major storyline or part of any title scene on the promotion.

More than two weeks ago, he posted about sharing some news with the fans in due time. Following the post, he has been posting updates regarding his wrestling show Starbash or promoting AEW so it seems like the announcement has yet to be made.

Dustin Rhodes has a long resume in the wrestling industry, and it seems like that will continue to be added to his resume as he has no plans to slow down.
