Dustin Rhodes breaks silence after brutal loss, goes off on top AEW star

Dustin Rhodes suffered a brutal loss during his recent match. Following the match, he took out his frustrations on top AEW star Jack Perry. On the June 12 edition of Dynamite, The Natural took on Jungle Boy in a Ladder match.

The match was for a shot at the AEW TNT Championship at Forbidden Door, which is set to take place on June 30, 2024, at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. Jack Perry won the match to advance to the next level.

After suffering the loss on Dynamite, Dustin Rhodes logged onto his X/twitter account to slam Jack Perry. He even called him the B-word. He tweeted:

"You're still a silver spoon b*tch, Jack. You won't ever forget my name! #StillSteppin #AEWDynamite."

Dustin Rhodes creates Shawn Michaels-Melina's iconic moment on Collision

On the recent edition of AEW Collision, Dustin Rhodes pulled the iconic Shawn Michaels-Melina's iconic moment from 18 years ago. On the show, The former WWE star faced Johnny TV (Johnny Nitro), accompanied by his wife Taya Valkyrie.

During a point in the match, he sneakily went out of the ring and wrapped his arm around Taya's shoulder, who was facing away from the ring. The same scenario happened in 2006 with Johnny.

At the time, Johnny Nitro was in a romantic relationship with Melina. He faced Shawn Michales in the 2006 Survivor Series match. Midway into the match, HBK rolled out of the ring to wrap his arm around Melina.

The move pulled by Dustin was a tribute to the creative head of WWE's developmental brand, NXT. Well, this is not the first time, the stars in wrestling have recreated this move.

Seth Rollins and Rhea Ripley did the same during a tag team match in May 2023. On the edition of WWE's flagship show, The Visionary had teamed up with AJ Styles to take on Damian Priest and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day.
