A WWE legend has been doing fairly well for himself in AEW in recent months. However, Disco Inferno doesn't think Tony Khan will offer him a new contract.

Dustin Rhodes made a name for himself in WWE as 'Goldust,' where he won several titles. Although, he showed his true potential after he joined All Elite Wrestling. During his time in Tony Khan's promotion, The Natural had one of the best matches of his career when he faced his brother, Cody Rhodes, at AEW Double or Nothing 2019.

His career took a slight turn for the worse after Cody Rhodes left the promotion. However, he managed to revive his career again this year and also won his first title in ROH. Currently, Dustin holds the ROH World Tag Team and World Six-Man Tag Team Championships.

Despite his recent successes, Disco Inferno stated on Konnan's Keepin' It 100 podcast that AEW probably wouldn't offer a new contract to Dustin Rhodes. He further noted that Tony Khan had no reason to keep the aging veteran and that WWE might be a better option for him right now.

"Should Dustin go to [WWE]. He's probably got a story there with Cody [Rhodes]. He probably might want to go to WWE since his brother is doing so great. He might be protected there. [He] might be a producer, you know. I don't know. There's really no reason for Tony Khan to keep him," he said. [1:23 - 1:40]
