Darby Allin made a huge statement regarding Jack Perry's backstage brawl against CM Punk. The duo were involved in a fight at the 2023 All In London. Later, the Scapegoat was suspended from the promotion while Punk was fired.

Darby Allin and Jack Perry have squared off multiple times. Their recent match happened at All In London 2024 for the TNT Championship, which the Scapegoat retained. While Darby Allin lost his chance to fight for the AEW World Championship on Grand Slam: Dynamite, Perry will defend his title in an open challenge on Collision.

Before the All In brawl, the TNT Champion was known as Jungle Boy while part of Jurassic Express. After the faction imploded, he reintroduced himself as Hollywood Jack, which didn't please the audience. After being reinstated by Tony Khan earlier this year, Perry has been known as the Scapegoat, and fans praise his current gimmick.

Speaking to the New York Post, Darby Allin recently commented on The Scapegoat and said that Jack Perry's current gimmick is far more believable than the other two he had.

"Honestly, it sounds crazy, but it’s awesome. Because when he was Jungle Boy, I felt like it was just too hokey and had a shelf life, if that makes sense. Like there was a glass ceiling with Jungle Boy, and then when he first became a bad guy, Hollywood Jack, or wherever the hell he was it just wasn’t believable. Nothing he was doing was believable. It felt like a horrible made-for-TV Lifetime, movie network character. If anybody’s benefited from the incident that happened last year at All In, it’s Jack Perry, because now what he is, I feel like, is kind of where he always needed to be," he said. Jack Perry failed to capture the AEW World Championship

The TNT Champion has been receiving a lot of spotlight in AEW lately. After the American Dragon won the world title at All In, he laid out an open challenge for All Out, which Perry answered.

The bout saw both the star pouring their hearts to win it. However, Bryan Danielson picked up the victory.

It will be interesting to see who answers the Scapegoat's open challenge on Collision.
