AEW star Daniel Garcia hasn't decided which promotion to join yet. However, his tag team partner may have accidentally spoiled his decision. The star being discussed is "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard.

Menard, "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, and Garcia were a heel tag team when they debuted in the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2021. Daddy Magic has had a special bond with the latter and accompanied him during crucial matches. The former has been acting as a mentor to Daniel.

The 25-year-old star has been the talk of the town since his absence in July. His contract expires in October 2024. He was written off TV following his match against Will Ospreay for the International Championship. He was then attacked by MJF, who turned heel on the latter. He hasn't been featured on TV since.

Many reports have suggested that Daniel Garcia hasn't signed a deal yet with AEW. A recent report indicated that he is conflicted about signing with the Tony Khan-led promotion and is considering his options with WWE.

In the meantime, Matt Mernard posted pictures of himself and Daniel on X, hinting the young star has re-signed with AEW. Amid the reports of the 25-year-old star still being unsigned, Daddy Magic cryptically deleted the two tweets he posted earlier.

Daddy Magic provides an update on Daniel Garcia's condition

AEW American Champion MJF turned heel on Garcia after the latter's loss to The Aerial Assassin. Maxwell viciously attacked the young star, who then had to be stretchered out of the ring.

While speaking with Close Up with Renee Paquette, Matt Menard revealed that Daniel Garcia had no strength in the left side of his body. He also discussed the uncertainty of when the latter would return.

"This time has been stolen from him. What, it’s been two, three weeks now since Max did whatever he did. We don’t know when Daniel’s gonna come back. He lost all the strength in the left side of his body. [His body] has been through so much, and doctors are very careful. We do not know when Daniel’s going to come back. I just hope he makes a full recovery. It’s sad," he said.

Only time will tell which promotion the 25-year-old star will sign with.
