The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion EC3 has reacted to the possibility of The Hurt Business getting signed to Tony Khan's ROH. Bobby Lashley and MVP are reportedly set to be free agents soon which allows them to reunite with Shelton Benjamin and reform the faction.

Tony Khan acquired Ring of Honor in 2022 and has had many top talents crossover from AEW to ROH in recent years like Samoa Joe, Roderick Strong, Bryan Danielson, Mark Briscoe, and more. However, many have pointed out the lack of interest in the storylines of the ROH shows.

On the recent edition of Sportskeeda Wresting's The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, EC3 claimed that bringing The Hurt Business to ROH would be a terrible idea, however, it can add some credibility to the promotion.

"That would be terrible and I didn't know this thing, but also that would mean he would have foresight to thinkb about needing to make money of off this company that cost a lot of money to run. So I guess that's an improvement as opposed to judt, 'It's free, who cares, come into my sandbox let me play with you. This is so much fun.'" [From 09:31 to 09:53]

Vince Russo claims Tony Khan can overpay The Hurt Business to come to AEW

In the same episode, Vince Russo spoke about how Tony Khan is willing to pay good money to add big names to his AEW roster. The WCW veteran explained that money is the first priority for many wrestlers in the business.

"Because Tony Khan has set the precedent that he's going to pay you more money than anybody else. And what do wrestlers want? The most money. So, he set the precedent. I'm with you bro, I would love to see this talent be spread around but Tony Khan has made it clear, 'I'm going to over pay you to come here.'" [From 07:43 to 08:10]

Shelton Benjamin recently revealed that he has had talks with AEW after his WWE release. It will be interesting to see if Bobby Lashley and MVP join him to reunite The Hurt Business.
