A former partner of Bobby Lashley during his time in the WWE seemingly received an offer to join The Hurt Syndicate as he showed the card in his recent post. The star was the manager of Lashley during their time in the Stamford-based promotion.

The star in question is Lio Rush, who used to manage Bobby Lashley. Weeks ago on Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, MVP made his AEW debut months after his WWE departure. Later, the former United States Champion also introduced the All Elite fans to Shelton Benjamin, who was released from the Stamford-based promotion last year.

MVP and Shelton seemingly revamped 'The Hurt Business' in Tony Khan's promotion and are now known as 'The Hurt Syndicate'. At the recent WrestleDream pay-per-view, MVP tried to recruit Swerve Strickland in his group, but the latter rejected the offer. Meanwhile, Hurt Syndicate apparently wants to recruit another former WWE star.

This week on Dynamite, Shelton Benjamin made his All Elite in-ring debut against the former WWE star, Lio Rush. Fans saw a new version of Shelton as he destroyed Rush, registering his first win. Nevertheless, after Dynamite went off the air, Lio Rush shared a picture on the X (fka Twitter) holding The Hurt Syndicate business card, which seemed to be an offer from MVP to join the group.

Report on Bobby Lashley's potential AEW debut

Fans were hoping Bobby Lashley would make his All Elite debut at WrestleDream, but it didn't turn out to be the case. Nonetheless, speaking exclusively on Sportskeeda's Q&A with Bill Apter, WrestleVotes reported the following regarding Lashley's potential AEW debut date:

"The other date that sticks out is the next pay-per-view, Full Gear, in Newark, New Jersey. It's gonna be a packed house. So the more people, the louder the pop, the more the excitement. I could see it happening there, I guess. Or maybe even the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a special Dynamite."

Henceforth, only time will tell when The Almighty will be seen on Tony Khan's promotion.
