CM Punk and Drew McIntyre seemingly ended their lengthy feud in the best way possible. They fought at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event in a Hell in a Cell match and delivered an excellent match, which many regarded as one of the best Hell in a Cell contests ever.

Surprisingly, fans have been thanking an AEW star following the event. The star in question is Jack Perry. For those who don't know, The Scapegoat and The Second City Saint had a backstage altercation at All In 2023. This incident infamously led to Perry getting suspended for months while CM Punk was fired from AEW.

Following The Best in the World's departure from the Jacksonville-based promotion, he made his return to WWE in November 2023 at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. Since then, he has had a handful of great matches in the company. His feud with Drew McIntyre has turned out to be an all-time classic. CM Punk picked up the victory in the rubber match.

Fans have been thanking Jack Perry on social media as his actions seemingly caused a domino effect resulting in a scenario where Punk returned to WWE after nearly a decade. Many also realized that they couldn't have witnessed this great bout if The Second City Saint hadn't returned to the promotion.

Ryback reacts to the brutal contest between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre

Punk and McIntyre used many weapons during the violent match inside the demonic structure. Both the stars were busted open at the very beginning of the match.

Following the match, Ryback took to X/Twitter and claimed that he had never been this vicious during his matches compared to the recent Hell in a Cell match.

"I’ve never done this or anything close to this to any of my opponents. I would say whoever did this to him is beyond reckless and very dangerous to work with," Ryback wrote.

It will be interesting to see who their next rivals will be as the duo has possibly ended their feud at Bad Blood.
