The Young Bucks sent a one-word message on social media after their performance on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. The show emanated from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson are set to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher on Dynamite: Grand Slam next week. Ahead of the upcoming special event, the All Elite Wrestling EVPs teamed up with their Elite stablemate, Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, to take on Ospreay, Fletcher, and the latter's Don Callis Family teammate, Konosuke Takeshita, in an exhilarating Trios match on the September 18, 2024, edition of Dynamite.

The high-octane, star-studded bout saw all six men involved bring their A-game to the squared circle, ultimately ending with Fletcher and Ospreay planting Matthew Jackson with the Coriolis to pick up the win for their team. Days after their match on Dynamite, The Young Bucks took to X/Twitter to share a GIF of an incredible collaborative move that they and Okada delivered on The Aerial Assassin. The post was accompanied by a one-word caption:

"Apologize."

It is not clear exactly what The Young Bucks were asking an apology for, although the comments under the tweet could lead one to speculate that the former AEW World Trios Champions were firing back at critics and detractors who continue to raise questions about the quality of their in-ring work.

Recent reports indicate that the two entities are close to announcing their new agreement, which is rumored to be an exceedingly lucrative one for All Elite Wrestling. The Young Bucks, notorious for their witty social media comments on their X/Twitter bio, remarked on reports surrounding WBD's "extensive" offer to the Jacksonville-based company with their usual sense of humor.

"Dang, we should've asked for more money," The Young Bucks wrote.
