Amanda Huber sends heartfelt response regarding AEW's new Brodie Lee collaboration

AEW recently announced that a new limited-edition Brodie Lee sneaker will be released soon. The Exalted One's widow, AEW Community Outreach Coordinator Amanda Huber, has now commented on the project.

All Elite Wrestling has been working to branch out in 2024, and plenty of work has been done to increase the company's marketing, sponsorships, and collaborations. Its latest endeavor is a partnership with Reebok. The sneaker company's recent collab with The Young Bucks produced the Pump Omni Zone 2 'Superkicks,' which sold out in a matter of days.

Now, Reebok is teaming up with AEW again to produce the Brodie Lee edition of its classic leather sneakers line. Brodie (real name Jon Huber) was beloved in the Jacksonville-based company and remains an enduring name in its history. The shoes will go on sale on July 1st and can be bought exclusively from Champs Sports.

All Elite Wrestling took to X today to promote the new shoes and revealed that the Huber family will donate 100% of the royalties to Highmark Caring Place, a charity that supports children and families who have lost loved ones. Amanda Huber quoted the tweet and expressed her excitement in helping others, which she noted was part of Brodie's legacy:

"So excited to share with the world what we’ve been working on for quite some time and even more excited to know how much he’s still able to help people. 💜🖤#BrodieLeeLegacy," wrote Amanda.

Former AEW star Cody Rhodes pays tribute to Brodie Lee

Brodie Lee's final match was against Cody Rhodes in All Elite Wrestling. The two went head-to-head in a brutal and bloody Dog Collar Match on the October 7, 2020, episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite.

The American Nightmare emerged victorious, reclaiming the TNT Championship to begin his second reign with the title. That version of the belt would be retired just two months later after The Exalted One passed away.

Cody Rhodes is the face of WWE now, but he recently took the time to speak about his final match against Brodie:

"Brodie gave me a beating and gave the world an incredible and magnificent final show... (I kept my collar and his jacket) and all the memories I could salvage... Ultimate family man, ultimate pro wrestler 💜, " tweeted Rhodes.

The Exalted One left a permanent mark in both WWE and AEW, and many fans are excited to see the Jacksonville-based promotion and all the people who loved him continue to honor his legacy.
