AEW is gearing up for its 2024 Grand Slam specials. The company will return to Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City for two big events taking place over the course of one night. A popular All Elite rivalry is set to continue as officials have confirmed a major segment planned for the Grand Slam.

AEW's fourth annual Dynamite: Grand Slam will air live from Queens, NYC this Wednesday night. The inaugural Collision: Grand Slam episode will be taped that same night to air next Saturday night in its normal timeslot. Two tag teams that have earned spots at Grand Slam this year are MxM Collection and The Acclaimed, who have chased tag team gold in recent weeks.

The Maximum Male Models were released from WWE last September. Mansoor and Mason Madden immediately reunited on the indies as MxM, then signed with ROH and AEW this past July. The former WWE stars began feuding with Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn several weeks back.

MxM Collection revealed on Friday's Rampage that they have taken Caster's "Best Wrestler Alive" jacket, and have plans to give it an extreme makeover. The duo provided an update on Collision last night, revealing that the makeover is done, and they will reveal it next week on the Grand Slam special as a follow-up to NY Fashion Week, noting that the changes "will be something everyone loves."

Platinum Max insulted MxM Collection in a Collision freestyle last night as The Five-Tool Player and Daddy A*s issued a warning. Caster then took to X/Twitter to declare Mansoor and Madden to be an embarrassment to the business.

"Embarrassing to the sport of wrestling," Max Caster wrote in response.

The Acclaimed defeated enhancement talents at Saturday's Rampage tapings, to air next Friday, one night before Collision: Grand Slam. They issued a post-match warning to MxM, who defeated Private Party in their sole All Elite victory so far. They have AEW losses to The House of Black, Top Flight, and FTR.
